History of the Compex brand
Originally from Switzerland, Compex has been working for more than thirty years in the fields of training, pain management, injury prevention and sports rehabilitation. The brand is renowned for its unrivalled expertise and for the suitability and usefulness of its products, for athletes and healthcare professionals alike.
Compex products are backed by clinical trials that classify them as Class II medical devices. They also comply with the European Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC.
In 2016, Compex entered the sports orthotics market with a new, effective, clinically tested range. This was followed by kinesiology tape and various therapeutic products for heating or cooling the muscles.
In 2019, self-massage products were added to the Compex range: using percussion or vibration, these products marked a turning point for the brand, reflecting a real desire to diversify.
More recently, in 2021, Compex launched the new Ayre compression boots, ideal for recovery, as well as a smartphone-controlled muscle stimulator.
