The i-Run team says
Inimitable, the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 39 shoe is the indispensable asset for your daughter during her running training sessions. Always as efficient on roads and marked paths, it provides her with the means to exceed her athletic goals.
To maximize the dynamism of her strides, the Air Zoom unit is positioned at the forefoot. Its integrated soft foam gives her the cushioning and propulsion necessary to run with confidence.
Revised, the upper incorporates Flywire technology to properly secure her foot during accelerations. The woven mesh allows for pleasant ventilation while the padded tongue offers superior comfort.
The outsole is made of more durable rubber to improve its grip and durability. It benefits from excellent flexibility thanks to the addition of flex grooves.

Air Zoom
Nike Air Zoom is a responsive and quick cushioning system. Thousands of stretchable fibers are connected at each end inside an incredibly thin air cushion. This cushion is then filled with air in the form of gas. When the air is compressed, the fibers contract. Thanks to the air pressure and the contraction of the fibers, this allows the Zoom Air cushion to absorb shocks, regain its shape more quickly, resulting in immediate responsiveness in a fraction of a second. Thanks to its low profile, the air cushion keeps the foot close to the ground, providing exceptional sensations.

Flywire
The Flywire cables (braided polyester threads for maximum resistance, similar to cables on a suspension bridge) wrap around the midfoot and integrate with the laces for remarkable support, stabilizing and locking your foot during explosive movements.
