Two Air Zoom units are located in the forefoot and heel to give your stride maximum momentum. This new design smoothes transitions and gives you the propulsion you need to beat your time.
The reuppered upper incorporates Flywire technology with the aim of supporting your foot correctly during acceleration. The technical mesh is designed for pleasant ventilation while the padded tongue has been added for superior comfort.

Air Zoom
Nike Air Zoom is a responsive and quick cushioning system. Thousands of stretchable fibers are connected at each end inside an incredibly thin air cushion. This cushion is then filled with air in the form of gas. When the air is compressed, the fibers contract. Thanks to the air pressure and the contraction of the fibers, this allows the Zoom Air cushion to absorb shocks, regain its shape more quickly, resulting in immediate responsiveness in a fraction of a second. Thanks to its low profile, the air cushion keeps the foot close to the ground, providing exceptional sensations.

The Flywire cables (braided polyester threads for maximum resistance, similar to cables on a suspension bridge) wrap around the midfoot and integrate with the laces for remarkable support, stabilizing and locking your foot during explosive movements.
