The history of the SMOON brand
Founded in 2018, SMOON was born from a strong ambition: to offer a more sustainable and comfortable alternative to conventional period protection, which is often uncomfortable and polluting.
The idea took shape when Mathilde, the founder, became a mother. Experiencing the challenges of motherhood first-hand, she realised that intimate protection had not evolved in decades. What was needed was a technical solution that respected both the body and the environment, suited to every stage of a woman's life.
After a year of research with a textile engineer, SMOON launched its flagship product: seamless period pants, high-performing, washable and reusable. Designed to support women in their daily lives as well as in their sporting activities, they combine innovation, comfort and eco-responsibility.
Since then, the brand has continued to grow, with products designed for all women, whatever their age, flow or needs. Innovation remains at the heart of SMOON's projects, driven by the desire to provide practical solutions to intimate health and environmental challenges.
