Technologies

  • Gore-Tex

A guaranteed protection against the elements, even in heavy rain or snowfall. Gore-Tex technology makes the shoes waterproof and breathable.

  • Double Injection

For optimal cushioning and comfort, the midsole of the shoe is connected to the upper through a complex injection molding process. The upper part of the shoe is cast in a mold specifically designed for this purpose. This mold is then filled with several layers of PU foam. This is how the sole is formed and directly connected to the upper.

  • DynaPU

The midsole strongly influences the foot's rolling motion and the cushioning of a shoe. At Lowa, it is crafted from a unique synthetic material: Lowa DynaPU. This material retains its shape over time and with repeated use. Even when compressed a thousand times, it maintains all its stability and substance. Therefore, shoes that incorporate it into their construction exhibit excellent cushioning properties, even after covering many miles.

  • Soft Stabilizer

To stabilize the molded sole of Lowa shoes, a soft nylon joint trim is integrated. Thus, the shoes are particularly suited for daily outdoor use.

  • Rubber Outsole

A rubber outsole designed by Lowa with optimized profiling for terrain, made from a special rubber compound. The advantage of these soles: good grip on all types of terrain.

  • Multri Trac

Flexible and abrasion-resistant outsole with a triangular profile that provides grip and traction on various moderately rough terrains. It offers a comfortable foot roll.

  • Monowrap

The LOWA MONOWRAP structure is designed with polyurethane, a synthetic material known for its lightness. The midsole supports the foot thanks to its LOWA MONOWRAP structure.

  • 2 Stand on the paper with your heel touching the wall. Mark the tip of the big toe and the outermost part of the heel.
  • 3 Measure the distance from the edge of the paper to the mark. Use this measurement to find your ideal size in the chart
