Compact and lightweight, the Black Diamond Distance Carbon Z-Poles for the seasoned athlete propel and support you during your trail ascents.
Their 100% carbon fiber construction ensures extreme lightness. While being ultra resistant to traction and compression, the carbon remains flexible to accompany each of your movements.
Equipped with the Z-pole technology foldable into 3 sections, this model offers you accelerated deployment and easy storage. The non-slip extension improves quick grip while the strap made from recycled materials secures the poles in any circumstances.
For perfect adhesion on any terrain, you have Tech carbide tips (provided) and rubber tips (provided).

Cone deployment technology draws inspiration from expertise in avalanche probes. It is an essential component of the robustness, stability, and speed of deploying Z-Pole trekking poles. Simply grasp the handle and the upper section of the pole, then pull them in opposite directions. The pole snaps into place with a sharp click and locks. Each rapid deployment cone serves to guide and position a section of the pole and to reinforce the joint when the pole is locked. Soft protective tips cover the Kevlar central cable of the pole when it is folded.
It is composed of ultra-fine fibers, ranging from 5 to 15 micrometers, primarily made up of carbon atoms. These atoms are agglomerated and then aligned along the long axis of the fiber. This alignment provides it with excellent tensile and compressive strength while remaining flexible.
