Mizuno Wave Sky 9, what?s new?
Compared to the previous version, the Mizuno Wave Sky 8, it offers several significant changes:
- A new drop of 6 mm (compared to 8 mm previously).
- A thicker and more efficient midsole: +6 mm at the forefoot and +4 mm at the heel.
- A redesigned and widened outsole by 4 mm at the midfoot.
- A new mesh for better fit.
- A redesigned tongue for improved support.

The Wave plate ensures a better distribution of the shock wave at the moment of ground impact, thus providing excellent cushioning. The differences in leveling and amplitude of the Wave plates on the inner and outer sides of the foot guarantee the shoe's stability. By adjusting these amplitude differences, Mizuno is able to adapt to all strides and runner weights to offer maximum performance.
