The fleece of the merino sheep is designed to withstand extreme temperatures: It is breathable in summer, insulating in winter, and yet exceptionally soft and light. Icebreaker has successfully combined nature and technology to create garments specifically designed for outdoor and athletic performance.
In summer, the fine, light, and ultra-breathable merino fleece keeps it cool in temperatures reaching 35°C.
In winter, it produces an additional layer of wool over its first coat as protection against temperatures dropping to -20°C.
