Ideal for your open water outings, the Orca Vitalis Openwater Thermal wetsuit for women quickly becomes a preferred partner. It provides you with everything you need to fully enjoy your experience.
The Yamamoto 39+ neoprene offers you great freedom of movement, reduced friction with water, and enhanced hydrodynamics. It pairs with Yamamoto 39FS for better ease and a welcome energy saving.
You benefit from optimal buoyancy thanks to Yamamoto 39 X. It provides maximum thermal insulation, improved by the second layer of Batwing neoprene and the YKK10 zipper. These two features contribute to reliable waterproofing and a perfect fit.
Our model Camille is 1.75m tall and wears a size M.
Key points of the Orca Vitalis Openwater Thermal wetsuit
The Infinity Skin 2 inner lining provides an absolute feeling of freedom. Designed from a highly elastic nylon composed of bamboo fibers, this technology is applied to our wetsuits to offer you greater flexibility with every arm movement. It retains body heat longer, reduces bad odors, and prevents the growth of bacteria in your wetsuit. Additionally, it is made from natural and eco-sustainable materials that prevent skin irritations and are not harmful to the environment.
Elasticity, maximum flexibility, and a sensation of total freedom merge thanks to the combination of Yamamoto 39 neoprene, Infinity Skin 2 lining, and Smoothskin surface finish. With these features, the triathlete will be able to exert 35% less force for quick, short arm movements, and 45% less force for slower, wider movements, compared to any other conventional neoprene.
Cutting-edge finishes, premium neoprene, and optimal construction enhance the overall hydrodynamics of the wetsuit, allowing for increased swimming speed.
The combination of laser cutting at the neck and collar, along with reverse velcro, reduces friction, preventing the appearance of marks on the skin.
YKK10 zippers are highly durable and high-performance components. Their robustness extends their lifespan, and their high quality prevents water from penetrating the suit.
To prevent heat loss on the back due to the zipper, the Batwing construction features a second layer of neoprene. This layer prevents the water that seeps through the zipper from making direct contact with the body, retaining a layer of warm water inside. It also ensures an ideal fit around the neck to reduce friction and the flow of water from the neck into the wetsuit.
Thanks to the "Smoothskin" finish (soft skin), the neoprene retains good hydrodynamic properties.
At the chest, the Yamamoto 39 technology offers construction up to 4.5 mm thick. The inner thermal lining provides maximum insulation where it is most needed, without affecting the swimmer's position or movements. This material offers an insulating effect 84.5% higher than without a suit. The high-performance Thermal X inner lining retains heat more efficiently than other conventional inner textiles. Its soft and pleasant feel makes it extremely comfortable.
