As temperatures rise, staying hydrated becomes crucial, especially during a running session or a long trail outing. It's recommended to drink about a glass of water every half hour. However, constantly stopping to hydrate can be cumbersome and disrupt the flow of your hike or run. This is where hydration packs come in handy. Indeed, they are among the essential equipment every serious runner or trail runner should have. Equipped with a large water bladder and a hose, it allows you to hydrate effortlessly while continuing on your path.

The top strap offers the possibility to attach your walking sticks.

Choosing your Hydration pack: what criteria?

A hydration pack, as the name suggests, should primarily allow you to hydrate easily. Opt for packs that come with a water bladder of at least 1.5L capacity. Also, choose bags with side mesh pockets for your water bottles.

The rest, of course, should not be overlooked. The central compartment of your bag should be spacious enough to store your clothes and belongings. The straps must be adjustable to prevent rubbing on the shoulders and lower back.
